One more dies of dengue, 358 hospitalized

One person has died of dengue, a mosquito-borne disease, in the last 24 hours. In addition, 358 more people have been admitted to hospitals with dengue fever during this period. This information was given in a report sent from the Health Emergency Operation Center and Control Room of the Directorate General of Health Services on Thursday (July 3).

According to the report, the highest number of dengue patients, 150, were admitted to hospitals in Barisal from 8 am on Wednesday to 8 am on Thursday. In addition, 78 people were admitted to hospitals in Dhaka Metropolitan City (excluding City Corporation), 45 in Dhaka Division, 32 in Chittagong Division, 29 in Rajshahi Division, 14 in Khulna Division, 5 in Mymensingh Division, 3 in Rangpur Division and 2 in Sylhet Division. So far this year, 45 people have died of dengue. Of the deaths, 24 are men and 21 are women. 11,456 people have been admitted to hospitals.
