Protests continue at the Secretariat today, BGB-SWAT for security

Officers and employees are still protesting at the Secretariat today demanding the repeal of the Government Job Amendment Ordinance-2025. They have been holding a protest march at the Secretariat since Tuesday (May 27) morning.
Meanwhile, visitors are banned from entering as per previous instructions. Even journalists were not allowed to enter.
On the spot, it was seen that law enforcement agencies have strengthened additional security at the Secretariat. BGB, SWAT and APBN members have been deployed.
This movement has been going on for the past few days. Yesterday, Monday, a protest program was held under the banner of the Bangladesh Secretariat Officers and Employees Unity Forum. A protest program is going on at the Secretariat demanding the repeal of the Government Job Amendment Ordinance. On the other hand, the employees protested against the protest under the banner of July Mancha outside the Secretariat.
