No more silence: Advisor Asif on Ishraq issue
There is no more silence due to the way citizen services are being disrupted in South City, said LGRD Advisor Asif Mahmud.
He said this at the Secretariat after inaugurating the foundation stone of modern public libraries in 44 upazilas online on Thursday (June 19).
Stating that the activities of the South City Corporation have been stalled for a long time due to the crisis over Ishraq Hossain’s swearing-in, the advisor said that discussions are being held at the highest levels of the government. Action will be taken on this issue.
He complained that there are problems with citizen services, including dengue prevention, in South City. Even then, the ministry is trying to provide citizen services. He also said that the people should be aware of dengue prevention at this time.
