Two Israeli embassy workers killed in US gun attack

Two Israeli embassy workers were killed in a gun attack in Washington, DC on Wednesday (May 21).

The attack occurred around 9pm local time on Wednesday (May 21) during an event outside the Jewish Museum in Washington, DC. Two people, including a woman, were killed at the scene.

Witnesses said they were shot at close range. US Attorney General Pam Bondi and other Israeli embassy workers were also at the scene after the attack. However, the gunman could not be arrested. Security forces are conducting a search operation.

Additional security personnel have been deployed in the area. Several roads have been closed. The Israeli ambassador to the US condemned the attack.
